Some offer Independent legal advice as well as unbundled legal services, and can help you negotiate, draft a separation agreement or legalize your divorce. What is a collaborative family law process?
Collaborative family law is a process in which everyone agrees to collaborate toward solutions that work for both parties and agree not to go to court. Each party has a collaborative lawyer, signs a participation agreement and sometimes works with other other experts. If an agreement is not reached, the lawyers are not allowed to represent the participants in court and they have to get new lawyers if they go to court.
